Rebuses

At the end of each day at Enrich, all the kids go down to the mat and up on the board are some rebuses.  What are rebuses?  Rebuses can be words or numbers and pictures of things arranged in a particular way.  You have to try to unscramble or arrange them so they make sense - they are usually a well known saying or phrase.  Some people might say to themselves what does guessing muddled up words and other things have to do with your learning, being gifted, being talented and also have the chance to go to a magnificent place once a week?  It is a motivation for me because this is my first year at Enrich and it's a brain challenge.  It's teaching me to think of lots of possible answers, to think outside the square, to look deeper and to look beyond what I first see.  Rebuses are very cool and are a great way to test your thinking.
